Swell Sculpture Exhibition
Swell is a vibrant, exciting art exhibition on Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast, Australia Lighting is vital to this event, without it, everything finishes at sunset. Successfully illuminated, it gains a completely new dramatic edge.
Dux lighting was asked to engineer and manufacture large decorative pendants for an open area in one of Australia's leading banks headquarters. 8 immense pendants had to be designed to break into quarters for lift access then re-assemble seamlessly on site. The successful result adds to a stylish and dramatic space.
When asked to design and install a dramatic lighting effect for a private Gold Coast residence, Dux Lighting took the brief to a new level. The results are pleasing for us but most importantly our client was delighted.
Murwillumbah public pool underwent a large renovation Adding multi level carparks, a diving centre and also added decorative lighting to facilitate evening functions. Dux lighting worked with contractors Multi-span and Sub-contractors Elfords Electrical to produce a beautiful after-dark regional facility
The developers of a commercial centre in Kingscliff NSW want some decorative atmosphere for the façade of their development as is was adjacent to a restaurant and entertainment precinct. They were initially dubious that we could successfully illuminate the building with our tripled lamps in A5 fittings, preferring instead bulky floods with inefficient discharge lamps. We finally convinced them that we could colour 2 storeys of façade with 4 watts per fitting instead of 150 watts per fitting, by using tight beam control and no wasted illumination energy. The result was a saving on fitting costs, maintenance costs and 1752 watts per second.
